Richmond International Airport Field Information

The current "open V" runway configuration at RIC creates significant capacity for airfield operations, with present annual service volume capacity of 225,000 operations (an operation is a landing or take off). For 2007, annual operations totaled 121,000. Three asphalt-grooved runways accommodate all aircraft at RIC. The longest runway is 9,003 feet in length by 150 feet in width.
