AirTran Launches RIC-LaGuardia Flights

AirTran Airways Launches Service Today between Richmond International Airport and New York's LaGuardia Airport

Orlando, Fla. (August 7, 2008) - AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today began service between Richmond International Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York. The airline has added two new daily nonstop flights between the two cities, which are operated with AirTran Airways' fuel-efficient Boeing 717 aircraft.
