With over 8,000 public spaces on site, parking at Richmond International Airport is a safe, easy and convenient way for travelers to pull up, park and reach their travel destination. And with the opening of our new cell phone waiting lot, customers can wait for free and not have to worry about fees or driving loops around the airport as they wait for their arriving party.

* Please use Hourly Parking for passenger pick-up and drop-off. It is the current policy of the Capital Region Airport Commission to waive charges for customers using Hourly Parking if their visit is completed in less than 60 minutes. For visits exceeding 60 minutes, however, parking charges will be charged at $2/hr (including the first hour) up to a maximum of $24 per day.

Parking Options at RIC:

Daily Parking
Located directly across from the terminal building, nearly 4,000 daily parking spaces are available in the airport’s North and South parking garages. When entering the airport, follow the signs to the daily parking entrance.

Hourly Parking
Located on the ground level of the North and South parking garages, customers parking in the airport’s hourly lots can park for free for the first 60 minutes. After 60 minutes additional fees will apply (see above table for fees). When entering the airport, follow the signs to the hourly parking entrance.

Economy Lot Parking
This is the most economical way to park at RIC. There are more than 3,000 spaces at a cost of only $7/day. Economy lots A and B are located next to Airport Drive on Eubank Rd, across from the Doubletree Hotel Richmond Airport and are within 1/2 mile of the terminal building. Economy lot C is located south on Airport Drive, near Charles City Road, within one mile of the terminal building. Transportation between the passenger terminal and all airport Economy lots is free, provided by EasyPark shuttles 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

Valet Parking
Valet Parking is available at the terminal departure curb. Your vehicle is parked for you and returned to you at the curb. As a convenience to airport customers, Valet Parking may be pre-arranged by calling 804-226-3089.

Handicap parking is available in ALL airport-parking facilities.

New! Cell Phone Waiting Lot
A new, 40-space, cell phone waiting lot has opened at RIC to alleviate congestion in the terminal’s arrivals area. Located just off Terminal Drive near the South parking garage, the new parking lot is a convenient, free way for guests to wait for passenger pick-up. Vehicles in the cell phone waiting lot must be attended at all times.

Payment Options (major credit cards accepted):
  • Cashiers: Available at all parking facility exit locations. Cashiers are available 24 hours a day. Major credit cards accepted.
  • AutoExpress: Customers can enjoy the convenience of paying for parking within the terminal building by utilizing one of the many AutoExpress pay stations located throughout the upper and lower levels of the terminal and in the North and South parking garages. For questions about how to use the airport’s AutoExpress pay stations, please contact Parking Services at 804-236-4030.
  • Credit Card: Customers can pay for parking using a major credit card at select lanes in the airport’s daily and hourly garage exit plaza and when exiting Economy lot A.

Free EasyPark Shuttle Service:
Free EasyPark shuttle service runs continuously to and from the terminal building and the Economy lots approximately every 15 minutes. ALL EasyPark shuttles are wheelchair accessible. For additional shuttle information, please call 804-236-4032. Please allow extra travel time to the terminal when parking in the Economy lots.
