Free "Meet and Greet" Parking at RIC

Richmond International Airport, VA, October 24, 2008: Picking up or dropping off guests at RIC? The airport has two free, short-term parking options available, intended to offer convenient waiting locations in close proximity to the terminal and to relieve curbside congestion.

Cell Phone Waiting Lot:
Opened in April 2008, the airport's Cell Phone Waiting Lot is a free and easy way for customers to park at RIC and wait for their arriving party. The new 40-space lot is located just off Terminal Drive near the South parking garage, about one minute's drive from the terminal. While there is no charge to use the lot, vehicles must be attended at all times, and drivers are encouraged to turn off vehicles when temperatures permit.

Free Garage Parking:
Customers utilizing the airport's North and South Hourly or Daily locations in the parking garages can park for free for up to 60 minutes*. This parking option is ideal for "meeters and greeters" waiting for arriving passengers. The two parking garages are located directly across from the terminal building.
