RIC to Host Global Entry Mobile Enrollment Event July 14-18

Richmond International Airport is pleased to announce a temporary Global Entry enrollment event will be hosted at the airport from July 14-18, 2025.

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Upon arrival to the United States, program participants proceed to automated Global Entry kiosks. After using the kiosk or mobile app, individuals will be directed to designated Global Entry lines to speak with an officer. On average, Global Entry members wait less than 10 minutes while using this program upon entering the United States.

The event will be hosted in the main terminal of the airport (1 Richard E. Byrd Terminal Drive, Richmond International Airport, VA 23250) in the Business Center on the upper-level connector between ticketing and the atrium. Interviewees are reminded that there is no charge for parking stays of less than 60 minutes in Hourly or Daily Parking in the decks.

Appointment times will be given to individual applicants by the USCBP. 31 of RIC’s nonstop destinations offer Global Entry kiosks.

How to Apply and Participate in the Global Entry Mobile Enrollment Event

  1. Go to Official Trusted Traveler Program Website | Department of Homeland Security (ttp.cbp.dhs.gov),
  2. Scroll to the bottom center, under How Enrollment Works, select Find an Enrollment Center, and choose Global Entry.
  3. It will take you to the TTP Schedule - Choose Location page.
  4. Under Choose an Appointment Location, select FILTER BY: dd/mm/yyyy using a date within the July 14-18 range (if you choose by state, you will not see it). You must use the date filter.

Important notes about this event:

  • Please bring all necessary documentation with you to your interview such as all valid passports, legal permanent resident card, any applicable visa(s) and physical proof of residency.
  • All applicants will be photographed and fingerprinted.
  • Each interview takes about 10-15 minutes per person.
