Richmond International Airport (RIC) Hosts a Terminal Takeover for the Atlantic 10 Conference’s Women’s Basketball Championship

Welcoming A-10 Teams, Students, and Supporters to the 2025 Championship Tournament

Terminal Takeover Facts
· The Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championship will take place at the Henrico Sports & Events Center March 5-9, 2025.
· The Capital Region Airport Commission is committed to presenting the Richmond Region and RVA brand, themes, and culture via our venue at Richmond International Airport (RIC).
· A replica of the A-10 Championship basketball court plus a hoop are being displayed on RIC’s upper-level connector for the duration of the tournament. The court is regulation width and nearly half a court long.
· The display is located on the Departures Level of Richmond International Airport, pre-security.
· Miles Printing of Indianapolis produced the decals for the court along with other promotional material. The court is comprised of 26 individual tile decals and took six hours to install on Saturday, February 15.
· RIC guests can walk across the tiles with their carryon items and other belongings as usual; please note, however, that the court is for display only and is not meant for competitive play.
· The court has been furnished by the Capital Region Airport Commission in partnership with the Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority, OrthoVirginia, and 288 Travel.
